Intensive Therapy

Healing doesn't always fit a weekly schedule. Personal Courage in Grand Rapids offers focused, intensive treatment options, with sessions more than once a week.

When Intensive Therapy Can Help

Weekly sessions work well for many people, but sometimes a little more is needed. You might want to work through a specific experience or trauma without a week's gap between sessions. You might feel stuck and want to build momentum, or you might have a limited window of time, like a break from work or school, that you want to make the most of. Intensive therapy means meeting more than once a week, sometimes for longer sessions, so you can go deeper and make progress sooner.

Whether an intensive schedule is right for you is something you and your clinician decide together. They'll look at your goals, what you're working on and what you can realistically fit into your life, and they may suggest it if they think it would help. If you're curious about it, just mention it when you reach out, and we'll talk it through.
